Oh, summer! I have to love summer, it’s short and sweet in northern British Columbia, but we pack a lot of fun into every minute. And today I’m blog  hopping with the rest of the gel-a-tins design team, so you know it’s a good day! I’m having a great time on the design team – gel-a-tins makes fantastic stamps and I love their metal tin storage cases. One of the first stamp sets I received in my design team package was this “Sweet to the Core” stamp set. It’s been one of my favourite to use, the large solid images are so versatile, and in this project I used the apples to create a background by stamping in Versamark and heat embossing with White On! gelly powder. I then stamped one apple in red and heat embossed the sentiment using more White On! gelly powder. It’s a simple card, which just  makes the design more impactful (is that a word?).
