Wild Rose Love card

The first stamp set I designed was this wild rose set.

I took the inspiration from a vintage pitcher that is displayed in my farmhouse-style kitchen. The wild rose is also the symbol of Alberta, my home province. Wild roses festoon the roadsides in our region in June and smell wonderful. I love the range of pinks in wild roses – those in shaded areas have a richer colour, while the ones in full sun are a washed-out faded pinky-white.

My newest stamp set, “Tenderhearted” is on sale now at Paper and Such, and I have one to give away as well. Enter by commenting on my “blogiversary” post here.

  1. I`m so thrilled to have even found your blog with the great inspirations…better that your a Canadian.
Being unable to continue working at my career; Ive turned to the next best thing= LOVE of CRAFTING, sewing, quilting, all sorts.
Ive made beautiful Birthday and Friendship Cards etc., due to having looked through this entire blog since I joined. Using ideas for not just cards, but tags, even using my leftover sewing scraps to provide backgrounds and enhancements.
Thank-you for a great blog of super artistic achievements.
