Hi friends! That always sounds dorky when others write it on their blogs, but I’m going to roll with it – I appreciate my blog community so much and your encouraging comments!
Things are busy around here! My van is in need of serious repairs – head gasket – and I am so thankful for a mechanic husband. Unfortunately, he is only available evenings and weekends so I am without a vehicle for at least a week. Yesterday I was so productive – got the house cleaned, baked some fabulous chocolate chip peanut butter oatmeal cookies, and cleaned the scrap room. Now I have a stack of magazine calls for submission that I would love to submit to, so that’s on my agenda next.
This is my last month posting for gel-a-tins stamps and I wanted to go out with a bang. So I made a chocolate gift set that you have got to see! Check out the gel-a-tins blog to see the whole thing – here’s a peek:

Other cool news: I got a submission acceptance yesterday from Create: magazine. Until now I’ve only seen projects in Paper Crafts and Canadian Scrapbooker, so it felt great to break into a new publication. Now I just have to wait for spring to see it in print.
Speaking of publications, did you know that the Nov/Dec issue of Paper Crafts magazine is available for sale now?
Did you know I have two cards in it? One is my Stamping Royalty winning card, and the other is this one:
Seeing as Paper Crafts does a far better job of photographing projects than I do, you want to check out the issue to see it in its full glory. *wink*
And while we are on the topic of sneak previews, how would you like to see one of my Christmas cards from my upcoming Christmas card class? I’m using the beautiful Authentique line, Wonder and every Christmas stamp I own for this class – ten unique card designs with full instructions. If you’re interested in taking the class, please contact me and I’ll put you on the list. Date to be announced.
I’ll be posting ALL the cards in a day or two and you’ll drool, I promise!
Well, homeschool break time is almost over and then it’s time for our daily spelling test, followed by history and Bible, and swimming lessons this afternoon. Busy moms, unite!
