Yesterday I was weeding my little garden and after uprooting a fistful of nettles, made a discovery. I called the kids over to see what I’d found.
Brilliant red and the size of a pinhead, these baby ladybugs must have just hatched. They were clustered thickly on the weathered chunk of wood.
We’ve been watching robins hatch and grow, identifying birdsong and wildflowers and enjoying the mysteries and miracles of summer. So inspiring!
