Express your creative voice in this watercolour workshop with Angela Fehr in my personal art studio near my home town of Dawson Creek, British Columbia. Enjoy long hours of a northern summer day while exploring fluid, vibrant watercolour. We’ll spend some time each day painting outdoors if the weather allows. The intimate class setting allows lots of time for one-on-one instruction tailored to fit your skill level and painting style.
July 18, 2017, 9am – 4pm: Exploring the Landscape in Watercolour
Using local scenes to inspire, Angela will walk the class through her process of developing a landscape painting that is evocative and expressive, using value studies and development exercises to “work through” a painting in several sketches before creating a confident final interpretation.
July 19, 2017, 9am – 4pm: Vibrant Loose Florals in Watercolour
Day two’s workshop will focus on painting florals that are vibrant and intuitive, while developing an understanding of the compositional “bones” that build a strong painting.
Cost: $400 CAD (approx $300 USD) (GST applies to Canadian residents)
Lunch will be catered & snacks are included. Space is limited to no more than 8 students.
Questions about the workshop can be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org
