In-Person Workshops
Let’s Paint Together!
Powerful, impactful and memorable growth happen when you have the opportunity to learn in person. My experience has been that investing in a physical, in-person art workshop has a lasting impact on my art, and I have seen this in my students. You will be forever impacted and changed by what you see and learn during the workshop.
I teach a combination of studio workshops (intensive learning on location) and travel painting adventures (shared experiences memorialized in sketchbooks). Which one sounds right for you?

May 5 - 11, 2025: The Blue Walk Watercolour Workshop in Italy (5 spaces left)
Lake Como is one of my favourite places in Italy, lined with beautiful villages and a rich history. Join our travel journal art retreat and explore the shores of beautiful Lake Como with me, stopping to paint wherever the fancy strikes us. One of the coziest ways to get comfortable with on-location painting is in a place like this, where there’s a cafe on every corner and a gorgeous lakeside view. Our small group will spend time in the small towns on the edge of the lake, traveling in short ferry rides around the lake and stopping to paint the scenery as it inspires us. Prepare for this getaway by learning to paint with a gelato cone in your non-painting hand.
This is also an excellent trip to bring a non-painting companion along, as our time on Lake Como will include free time for sightseeing together, daily walking tours with much to enjoy for both painters and non-painters alike!
