An unforgettable trip, winding down. Sitting in a cafe on the island of Santorini, I found myself painting little clusters of the iconic shapes and colours I’d experienced over the last twelve days. When I travel, my biggest struggle is learning how to live in this new time period; opening myself up to each moment and relaxing into the experience. I think sketching on location helps with that, helps me be more present and slow down.
