It was a perfect day on the shore of Lake Huron; sunshine, friendship and a bag of painting supplies. I get a rebellious thrill out of the “too-muchness” of this little painting, the excess of marks, the too-bright red, it’s a splash of joy on a piece of watercolour paper!
