We're Going to the Mountains!

I'm so excited; I just can't hold it back!

This spring when I started planning a watercolour workshop in Jasper National Park, I wasn't sure I was doing the right thing. I knew that hosting a workshop in this beautiful part of Canada was a dream of mine, but I didn't know if the timing was right, or if I was getting ahead of myself. I tend to do that with great ideas, and I really didn't know if organizing my own watercolour workshop was a realistic goal.

As I got deeper into planning process, I knew I was over my head! I made so many fumbling phone calls in a quest for information. I pored over price lists and crunched numbers, and then realized my calculations were off and started over again. At one point I almost scrapped the whole idea; my big dreams had made the cost of the workshop impossibly high and I had to simplify and scale down in order to put together something that would work for more people.

Jasper is a beautiful place and I'm so excited to announce that as of this weekend, the workshop is FULL! I have a dozen wonderful watercolour painters registered to join me in a painting adventure in the park, June 15-16, 2016. It's going to be so much fun to paint in this beautiful spot, to share what I've learned with fellow watercolour addicts, to relax in the mountains while doing what I love. While the workshop is full, I am starting a waiting list just in case of cancellations. I have students coming not just from western Canada, but the United States and Europe as well. Feel free to email me to add yourself to the waiting list!Red Deer Falls, watercolour by Angela Fehr https://angelafehr.com
